I’m almost 57 and a Jewellery designer/maker of some 26 years, running my own business full time. Selling my work all over the world, though not so much these days.
Over the years my rituals change, but usually include exercise. I’m a life long regular swimmer, in the summer I’m very fortunate enough to be able to swim in the sea …..my absolute fav thing to do, the cold water does something to you. It makes you feel so good. I also cycle alot and have done for 20 years.
But most recently I have been totally converted to yoga! I get up an hour earlier and do a you tube class very morning. It relaxes my mind and body and makes me ready for the day, takes away all those creaks and stiffness that comes with a person of my old age! I feel 10 years younger and above all it actually makes me happy!
You have to decide to make time, make it a priority in your life. I personally like a routine which I find much easier to stick to, rather than grabbing the odd half hour here and there.
