Our goal when setting up Family Inspired Training was to make it easy for parents to work out every week, by themselves or as a family. We have always had a strong passion for fitness and health and we kept hearing time and again how hard parents can find it to manage their exercise around busy family life. We wanted to change that! Our members are local parents and families that want to get fitter without the hassle of finding additional child care.
What we created was the option to have the two together, parents could come and get a great workout from Carl who is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness instructor and their children can get their own fun, friendly, developmental exercise class at the same time at Mini FIT which is run by Lucy who is a child development instructor and gymnastics coach as well as a qualified Pop Pilates instructor.
Our aim is to help people to get FIT & have fun. Allowing parents to re-build strength, endurance & CONFIDENCE in their body & it’s abilities whilst being part of a supportive and friendly community of like-minded individuals. Making fitness about the family allows parents to be a positive role model for their kids and develop healthy habits with life-long benefits. Giving them some time back for themselves by getting the chance to workout without having to pay over the odds for additional child care! “Fitness and health for the whole family.”
What Wellness rituals do you swear by?
3 things; eat real food, practise mindfulness and when exercising, make sure you are doing something that you love to do. Exercise is there to stimulate, not to annihilate. It should be something we do for our health and well-being, to make us happier and more confident every day.
