Day 48 | Culture with Kids: Milk at the Museum

Tell us a bit about yourself and/or your business and how you got to where you are today

I worked at the Imperial War Museum for 10 years and when I had my kids it turned out, due to childcare costs, I couldn’t go back. I had been on Instagram a while and it suddenly dawned on me its potential in getting information out there. I noticed that there was not one place you could go to find out all the family friendly activities going on in Museums and that’s where Milk at the Museum began.

What Wellness rituals do you swear by?

Some alone time is so important to me, I go a little crazy when surrounded by people for too long. Early nights when you can get them and drink plenty of water (which I don’t always follow)

 
What are your tips for incorporating Wellness in to a busy schedule?

Put aside half hour just for you, it’s nothing and can do you the world of good. Try and make time for one exercise class a week. Take time to breathe, even if it’s just 5 minutes throughout the day.
