Danny is a women’s personal trainer and group exercise instructor in Kent and Sussex. Danny runs Not Big Not Clever Fitness- specialising in personal training and group training in HIIT, legs bums and tums, conditioning, slimming, core, calisthenics, combat and aesthetics.
Danny places an emphasis on functional training by building core strength, back strength, balance, flexibility, agility and by helping clients learn how to master their own bodyweight. Once the body has a strong foundation upon which to build, other components such as improving explosive power, lifting weights and conditioning the body to work harder and more efficiently at a high intensity are introduced to a programme.
Training with Danny is varied and challenging- whether it’s targeted on toning your legs, bum and stomach, improving your flexibility with stretching or working out at a high intensity with weights. Danny likes to work with clients to help them become better all-round athletes whilst being able to use their improved fitness in their everyday lives and to make them feel better and more confident in themselves.
Danny did not do any exercise throughout his teens and struggled with his weight and body image well into his 20’s. When he was 24 he fully ruptured his Achilles tendon playing football (badly) and gave up on any idea of fitness altogether. Eight years later and he’s more driven, wiser and fitter than ever and determined to prove you’re never too old, too injured or too small to have a goal.
Danny is passionate in his belief that fitness should be made accessible to everyone, that people can be encouraged, supported and coached to believe they are able to accomplish something great.
